Menorrhagia, dysmenorrhoea and uterine enlargement (Fig 1) are common presentations in an outpatient clinic. These symptoms are quite non-specific in nature and frequently attributed to uterine leiomyomas. Adenomyosis, despite being commonly associated with these symptoms, is lesser known and diagnosed.
